Day #16

Today, in honor of Valentine's Day, I'm going to blog about someone special. I don't really know him that well (or at all, if I'm being honest.) But he has most definitely influenced me. This boy, laides and gents, is the infamous Parker Lemon.

My crush began last year when we attended the same school and I was friends with his younger brother. It sort of grew to an obsession.....but that's another story.

Anyway, here's why I love Parker Lemon.

He's super super nice. He's always smiling. He's always making others feel included. He humors little sophomores who stalk him.

He's really cute. Not in a Taylor Lautner/Channing Tatum kind of way. More like a you-can-tell-he's-a-great-person-so-he-appears-to-be-super-attractive kind of way.

He has the voice of an angel. Last year, me and my friend Tyler {who you may remember from day #9} used to ditch Chemistry with our teacher's permission and go to Chamber Choir so we could listen to the boys we liked sing. One time the Chamber and Phoenix boys were singing the BEAUTIFUL song Bui-Doi from the musical Miss Saigon. Anyway, Parker had a solo in that song and that particular day, he looked right at me when he sang it. It was a life-changing experience.

Parker really has no idea who I am, but he's just such a good guy, that he still wrote in my yearbook because I asked him to.
Here's what he wrote:

"One thing that has impressed me every time I've seen you is your smile. You have a sincere, very pleasant look on your face eery time and it really brightens my day. Thank you for that :) -Parker Lemon"

SEE??!! He even wrote a personal message to someone he didn't know AT ALL!! He's perfect. Right now he's serving the Lord in Hartford, Connecticut. Good luck, Elder Lemon!

This is a picture of all my Parker Lemon memorabilia:

A valentine his little brother sent me today at school. In case you can't read his handwriting, it says "To: Emily 'Future Wife' Lemon. From: Parker Windfield Lemon". I know it's not really from him, but it made my day.

A pen he kicked in the hallway that I may or may not have picked up.

A little slip of paper that he wrote his name on that my friend may have found in his English class and given to me.

Parker Lemon, thank you for being such an incredible person.

Day #15

This is Hanna Cutler. She is gorgeous.

She is also super super funny and charismatic and incredibly talented at singing, dancing, and acting.

Basically I would hate her if she wasn't so nice.

Also, she was in my Sweetheart's Dance group last night (which was totally awesome, by the way) and didn't make fun of my dancing ONCE. That just proves she's an angel.

She also is really easy to talk to and has the prettiest smile in the world. And she totally rocks bangs. They look great on her.

Hanna, you're swell.

*ALSO: Fun fact for ya, kids. THIS IS MY 100TH POST!! Happy birthday to my blog! Or. . .you know what I mean.*

Day #14

This is my sister Katherine Anne Regis. Isn't she pretty? She's hilarious and so comfortable with who she is. She introduces me to sweet anime like Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, and Ouran High School Host Club. She reads like a maniac and always lends me awesome books like Life Expectancy and introduces me to great series like Maximum Ride and Zodiac P.I. She's also super generous and the best oldest sister I could ask for! She's super super smart and beautifully quirky. Love you Kate!

Day #13

Today I'm blogging about someone who I haven't known for very long, but I love her like I've known her a lifetime.
Ladies and Gentleman! Please give a hand for........

RILEY HUEFNER!!

She's absolutely gorgeous {for real, every guy is in love with her!!} and she has a killer personality. She's witty and sly and so clumsy she makes me look graceful {just a joke, Ri}. Anyway, we met a couple of months ago when she transferred to Bountiful and we sort of became friends instantly {thanks to T.J.}. Riley, you are beautiful and unique and definitely a keeper!

Natalie Nyman was my EFY Counselor last year at USU. I can't even begin to say how much she means to me! We had some really great talks and she taught me sooo much. About the gospel, boys, myself, and just life in general. And, now she's getting married!! I'm so excited for her and I know she's going to make an awesome wife/mom. She's super funny and she genuinely loves others. I want to be more like her!

Day #11

SUPER quickly because I'm very tired and have a boatload of homework to do.

This person is great. She makes me laugh and I admire her. She's dedicated and hilarious without meaning to be. It's great. Whether we're singing our lungs out on top of a mountain at Girls' Camp or partying it up in musical, she's great. Here's to you Jess!

Day #10

Denali LeVerne Young.

We have been together our whole lives. She's my cousin {and let's face it, basically my sister}. There's really not much I can say about Denali that anyone would understand. She's a goof, she's hilarious. She's too much to describe. Denali, you're funny and I love you :)

Day #9

Two words: Tyler Smith.

Need I say more? Probably not. But I will.

I met Tyler last year in Health with Burton. We were brought together by our mutual hatred of the rest of our class. Then, in English and PreCalc we grew closer. Finally, our friendship has led to such adventures as British Movie Marathons, Boy Wallowing Parties, Bowling, Sleepovers, and telling her my deepest darkest secrets (which aren't that deep or dark, but you work with what you have.)

Tyler is incredibly loyal and she appreciates my sense of humor. She is so blunt and not afraid to speak her mind, which is something I really admire. She is an Uh-oh Oreo: white on the outside, black on the inside. There's not really any words for Tyler, she's too indescribable.

All I can say is that I never get sick of her and I never get bored with her. Tyler, you complete me.

Day #8

I would like to preface this by assuring you that I am not {I AM NOT} doing this to suck up. In fact, this person does not even read my blog.

I have the best boss in the world. She is probably the coolest person I have ever encountered. She has the craziest, yet cutest, fashion sense. She's always wearing awesome socks, big flowers and bows, and doing her hair in awesome ways. She's super funny and she feels more like a high school aged coworker than my boss, which is probably because she is only 24.

She is so great with kids and is going to be the GREATEST mom. All you have to do is watch her with Tyce or Alivia and Rynn or her nephew Talon. They practically worship her. She's great at telling stories and playing make believe and doing little girls' hair.

She's totally approachable and understanding when you have to miss work for something or leave early. And she always has the funniest stories.

Plus, she owns a life size cut out of Justin Bieber which makes her pretty cool in my book.

Miss Jacque, YOU'RE AWESOME!

Come visit her here!

Day #7 {and another item of business}

{Yes, I am wearing overalls. Get over it. They're comfortable.}

This is Daniel Mark Stanger. He's my pal.
I've known him for forever because he's my wardy and we've grown up together. He is possibly my favorite person in the entire world.

We do everything {EVERYTHING} together when it comes to ward stuff. Youth Conference, Mutual, Sunday School. Yep, me and Dandan are partying it up. He's probably the coolest kid I know.

One thing you should know is that I really REALLY admire him. He's so comfortable in his own skin, and he doesn't care about what other people think. He's super smart and he has an incredible testimony. He's not even afraid for girls to see him cry! What a keeper.

Danny gets my sense of humor and he always laughs at my jokes {which, trust me, is a BIG DEAL}.

He's hilarious and patient and the best friend a girl could ask for. Really, Dan, you rock my socks.

NOW!

Second item of business.
Today, me and Melissa went to get our hair cut. and THIS happened.

I promise, I did not ask for straight across bangs. Actually, they weren't supposed to be straight across bangs. They were supposed to be side bangs. But they were too short. So, I shook my head and they fell like this and I honestly don't know how I feel about them. What do you think? {and really, folks, it's okay to tell me they're grody.}

Day #6

This is my cousin Wade.
He's also one of my best friends.
He tries to act like a tough guy and pretend he doesn't have emotions, but he's actually pretty sensitive. He's a great listener and he always makes people feel included. Me, especially. He a TERRIFIC wrestler and he's very dedicated and focused. He's funny. He's bright. He can be annoying as heck, but I love him.

Today is his 19th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WADEY TADEY!
in a month and twelve days, he'll be leaving home for two years to serve the Lord in:

EVERETT, WASHINGTON!!

Look out Everett. You won't know what hit you.
Wade is going to be an awesome missionary because of his testimony and his ability to work hard. Go get 'em.

Day #5

Welcome again. I'm sort of short on time, so I'll keep it snappy.

{sorry, Grandma, but you don't get on facebook ever, so this is the only pic I have of you!}

Virginia Lee Regis. My grandmother. She's the one in the bottom left corner.
She is hilarious.
She is generous.
She is loving.
She is optimistic.
She is hardworking.
She is strong.
She is righteous.
She is THE biggest Cougar Fan on the planet.

But most of all, she's my Grandma and I love her.

Day #4

Okay, so I'm not sure if this person reads my blog or not, and I'm slightly afraid that they'll think I'm a creep, but someone who has definitely taught me a lot in this life is

Ms. Jane Busk.

A few things you might be interested to know about Jane:
- She's hilarious
- She has the cutest fashion sense
- She's totally awkward (in a good way).

A few {really important} things Jane as taught me:
- IT'S OKAY. Whether it's wearing clothes that don't match, or not blinging up your dress: IT'S OKAY.
- Sometimes people don't understand your sense of humor. That just makes you appreciate the people who do.
- When you're dancing a dream ballet, and your hunky cowboy gets traded for an icky farmhand, it is alright to loudly exclaim "Ulgh".

Jane is great. She's funny, she's cute, she's nice. Visit her here.

Day #3

Today I'd like to blog about this girl.

Her name is Roxanne Chase.
I met her at EFY last year and she has definitely changed my life. We met and clicked instantly. She taught me some pretty cool stuff, like Tootsie Rolls and Pizza Pringles are the greatest. And Mormons can dance cooler than other kids. And no one really cares if you're a spaz, they care if you care if you're a spaz. She's hilarious and generous and loyal and nonjudgemental. She makes me a better person just by association. Love her.
