Hometown Glory

So last weekend was Homecoming weekend, and basically the greatest weekend ever.
First, the Homecoming game vs. Highland (who everyone thought was going to destroy us, but we ended up beating 27-3. Atta baby Braves!)

Then there was the dance.
The asking? He covered my driveway with construction paper feet. Yuck.
But one of them had this cute little poem asking me to the dance, so all was forgiven :)
(Plus I got really pretty flowers: sunflowers, my favorite!)

So to answer, I did this:

Times like ten.
Hey, bub. You were asking for it :)

The day activity (no pictures, sorry) was going to Boondocks! Super super fun!
Even though EVERYONE in our group (a total of sixteen people) teamed up again me and Kendall on the bumper boats and we got soaked :)

Then the dance!
Theme: "Hometown Glory"

Okay, I was totally in love with my hair! I've never done up an updo before, so I just felt all classy and grown up and stuff. Loved it :)
Plus I really liked my dress! (and please take note of the black glitter toms. tacky? maybe, but I liked them anyway :)
Then I got to go to the dance with this kid:
One of my very best friends and an absolute gentleman. He was the perfect date and I had SUCH a fun time!!

Thanks for an incredible night Kendall!! By far my favorite dance. You're the greatest :)

In Loving Memory

Today was a pretty sad day for me.
I had to bury my beloved Carl's Jr. toy.
Why, you may ask?
Because some nincompoop by the name of Kendall Clinger lost half of it...in the garbage can.
Some people, you know?
Anyway, R.I.P. Carl's Jr. toy. You will be missed.

Also, today I got nominated for Homecoming Queen? Weird. Definitely didn't see that coming...

Right this instant

I should be doing my AP Lit homework, but instead, I am

- Facebook stalking random people....
- Listening to Hunter Hayes <3
- Playing with my Carl's Jr. Kid's Meal toy
- Praising the name of Landon McKinnon and our newly founded friendship pact.
- Missing my favorite seniors (Lucy, Grace, Dan, Dallas, Erica)
- Stressing about stuff. . . basically anything and everything
and most importantly
- Avoiding any semblance of responsibility

So. . . . . . . yeah.

Also, random thought for the day:
Do you know who's probably the cutest girl on the planet?
Hanna Beatrice Cutler.
Seriously.
She's the only person I know who could make getting beaten up by Carl look graceful.
Also, she has probably the prettiest singing voice I've ever heard in person.
"Sometimes when you're distressed on stage, you just have to hold hands."
The end.

Reason #54 Why There's a Spring In My Step

Sometimes you're having a good day.
And then your big sister who you miss
<-------------------------------------------THIS--------------------------------------------->
much calls and you talk for an hour.
Then a good day turns into a FABULOUS day.

Miss you Lisser, but glad you're having a blast at BYU!
