Remember how you make me smile every time I see you?
Remember when I was Crazy For You?
Remember how eating that much is bad for you, but loving that much is good for you?
Remember how pioneer clothes are uncomfortable and unflattering?
Remember how your dad took a million pictures?
Remember when you were the perfect date, even if my corsage exploded?
Remember when we had the funnest sleepover ever?
Remember when you turned 17 and I had the time of my life with my best friends?
Remember how we do EVERYTHING together? (Seriously, everything.)
Remember when I became a snowflake-making champ?
Remember when Dad finally did the puzzle we gave him LAST Christmas, but he loved it anyway?
Remember how Christmas was great, even if we didn't go to the cabin?
Remember how 2010 was the best year yet?
I laughed. I cried. I learned. I grew. I fought. I loved. I sang. I danced.
I heard. I saw. I felt.
Remember when 2010 changed me.
And now I'm me.

Tiph Turns 17!!
Okay, I know, two posts in one day is a little odd, but I wanted to blog about Tiph's birthday too, but I didn't have room on the blogpost about the dance, so I'm doing it now!
Real quick because I feel bad about the last long post.
Tiph's birthday party: Yummy dinner at the Garden, Looking at the lights at Temple Square, Spending time with my best friends. Rockin' night.

Snow Ball :)
Okay, so it's been like twenty years since the dance, but alas I am finally getting around to blogging about it. The Snow Ball (aka BHS Christmas Dance) was probably the funnest date I've ever been on. I had a totally rocking group and my date was stellar. I went with Hayden Call and I had a TOTAL blast. He was hilarious and gentlemanly and the perfect date. Here's the gist of the evening and the events that led up to it.
THE ASKING:
Opening night of Crazy For You, me, Steph, and Tiff all asked together. We filled up shoe boxes with fortune cookies, writing our names on one of the fortunes, and then wrapped the boxes like presents. We stuck these in the boys' dressing room along with a poster that said:
"We would be so 'Fortune'ate to have your 'Presents' at the Dance!"
Clever, eh?
THE ANSWERING:
I was lucky enough to get answered twice. Awesome, right? The first time was on the closing night of Crazy For You. We went to Chili's as a cast, and Hayden passed me a plate with "Yes" written in French Fries. The funny part is that I was a little bit cranky and so when he passed me the plate, I thought he was trying to give me the rest of his food. So, I answered in a less than pleasant tone, "I DON'T WANT IT." Hayden was a little miffed until I realized what it was and gladly took it. Sorry, bud.
The second answering was during rehearsal for Cinderella. Me, Steph, and Tiff all got answered together. They gave us cute little christmas presents and when we opened them, they had jingle bells and a note that read "Bell Yeah!". Hilarious.
THE DAY DATE:
For our day date, we went to Steph's house and played Curses for a while (Hayden missed this as he was returning from Bear Lake, but he got there in time for the rest of the date!) After that, we went upstairs and decorated Christmas cookies. You would assume that everyone expected a frosting fight to ensue, but apparently only me, Tiff, and our dates did. We were the only ones to participate, but it was super fun! After that, we went to Oak Hills Elementary and had a snowball fight, then made a snowman :)
THE DANCE:
Me and Tiff had to rush to get ready, then we ran to pick up our dates, and then hurried off to dinner at Rachel's house. We ate a yummy dinner of fondu and then ran off to the dance! The dance was at the Utah State Fair Grounds, which was decorated super pretty. I had a total blast because Hayden is definitely not shy about dancing crazy. It made me dance a lot more and made the dance as a whole a lot more fun. It was super cool. After the dance, we went back to Tiff's house where we began a movie, but only got a few minutes into it before we had to leave to make curfew. I don't think anyone really minded because the movie everyone picked was Cinderella Story, which I've seen a million times, and is a little bit girly for Hayden.
Me and Tiff just finished getting ready at her house!
Me and Hayden :) This pic was way more "us" than the stiff, formal one. I liked it better.
Our group (From back to front, left to right): Tiff, Hayden Johnson, Hayden Call, Me, T.J., Landon, Beth, K.J., Taylor Quinn, Rachel, Mat, Dallas, Steph, Ben, Alexis, Hannah, and Danny. I had so much fun with these guys!
All in all, the dance was an awesome time. I really enjoyed myself :)
