Guess who's now a licensed driver?

This kid.

Even if I did have to label my hands "left" and "right".

So lately

I have been not in quite the right mood. Not exactly sad, but not really happy. Super stressed out, that's for sure, kind of bummed about different things, and not my usual chipper self. You saw the face I was makin' Tuesday.

BUT THEN.

-I was able to go to the temple Tuesday after all {Oquirrh Mountain which was BEAUTIFUL! Plus, my good friend Dallas was able to perform the ordinances which was super cool}
-I learned how to polka at musical. How could this not make you happy?
-I was able to complete ALL of Act I and Act II of The Crazy Escape PERFECTLY. Didn't fudge on a single line.
-I went to a fun back-to-school picnic with the wardies.
-I got a text from a dear friend letting me know he cares.
-I remembered the entire dance for Many A New Day and didn't injure anyone during the skipping line {YES!}
-I fixed my schedule so I can be in seminary! {Even if I have to be in AP Lit all by my lonesome}
-I went to lunch with some sweet girls who reminded me why I love musical.
-I got to go to {and sort of plan} a birthday shindig for a friend I kind of lost track of and haven't seen in a while. It was good to reconnect.
-I remembered why I love my friends so much {a) they're hilarious b) they're hilarious c) they're hilarious}
-I saw my role model {Jane P. Busk} and realized that we'll still be friends, even if she skipped out on musical this year.

So yeah, life's pretty great. What was up with all the whining I was doing? Honestly, some people. Am I right?

And this the face I'm makin' today

This is the face you make when:

-you feel jipped because summer school and musical stole your summer
-you try to get your friends to the temple on a beautiful tuesday morning and nothing goes your way.
-senior year starts in less than two weeks
-you need to be able to drive, and you don't get your driver's license for one more week
-your director of the insane play you're in is mad you're not putting more effort into said play, but it's so hard to be dedicated to something you don't care about.
-you still need to read all three books required for your ap lit class.
-you have a million and a half things to do and zero motivation.
-your big sister/best friend is leaving in two weeks and you honestly don't know how to do any of this without her.
and perhaps the worst:
-you can't find your Never Say Never cd no matter where you look - and you've looked EVERYWHERE.

does anyone know lamaze breathing?

Just a little update...

I'M OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SUMMER SCHOOL PHYSICS!!!
Yes. My life is now 687 times better.
I celebrated by going to Smoochies with the gorgeous Steph Jensen.

I met the {creators? owners? caretakers? fathers?} of The Essential Blanket.
I'm a part of the "The Essential Ungraduated Girls Blanket"picture.
I feel so cool.

My good ol' pal Dallas took me and the gang boating yesterday.
SUPER FUN!! My friends are so awesome.
Finally got that tan line I've been lusting after.
Hit the drive-in theater with Dallas, Tyler, and Riley.
The movies {Cowboys and Aliens, Transformers 3} confused me, but what else is new?
I fell asleep twenty minutes into the second movie, but it was still a super fun night.

Crashed at Riley's house for the night with Tyler.
Love those girls.
With all my heart <3

SYTYCD?

Alrighty. Here's the dealio.

My sister Melissa got me hooked on So You Think You Can Dance.
If you don't watch this show WATCH IT!
It's incredible. It makes me wish I wasn't an oaf with two left feet.
Anyway, Melanie is definitely my favorite with her partner Marko coming in a close second.

Yes, I am aware that probably no one will watch this video clip of the most amazing dancers ever, but if you really love me, you'll do it.
Or if you don't love me and you love dance.
Or if you don't love me or dance but love happiness or sunshine or puppies or Christmas or anything good in life.

JUST WATCH IT.

Did you watch it? I didn't think so.
I'll give you another chance.
Click here to visit Lisser's blog and see another I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E routine by Melanie and Marko.

Still didn't watch the beauty and grace that is Miss Melanie Moore?
There's just no helping some people.

This is what it looks like to be 17:

Um, maybe I should have been more clear.
This is what it looks like to be 17, receive a poster of JB from your awesome friends, and then get an email from the great Biebster himself, attached with a video of him singing Happy Birthday. In other words:
BEST.BIRTHDAY.EVER.

Yeah, be jealous.

**Notice me awkwardly trying to keep Justin unrolled with my knees :)**
(Yes, Tyler. I said AWKWARDLY)
